Hi guys,
There has been talks lately in the soccer world concerning the recent charges by spain authorities against some professional players for tax fraud.
It is no news that the two best footballers in the world currently has faced allegations from the Tax department of the spain government for Tax fraud. Recently a top coach has been added to the investigation list.
Most of the alledged "TAX FRAUD" are connected to the image right earnings the players get. We learnt how some players try to act fishy by using a foreign company or business to evade paying taxes for earnings from image right.
This is a serious case to deal with in most part of the world where soccer is a very lucrative business. It's not an easy task identifying these players that defaults and bring them to book.
If the Tax authority decides to go after every single player and coach in the league, most players will be charged after retirements because it will take a very long time to do this.
On the other hand, if they decide to go for only top earning professionals, it will be unfair and biased.
So what can be done to ease the whole process for everyone?
Which league has a system that is working fine and all professionals are getting fair treatment?
Do you feel the policy in spain is not in the interest of the players?
Share your view on this, We will love to learn from your ideas to better the game of soccer
